Dr. Jason M. Bellows, MD, FACEP, FAAEM is an attending staff physician for the Department of Emergency Medicine for Lutheran Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital in the Denver, CO area. He also has served as a clinical instructor for the University of Colorado School of Medicine and as an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was nominated for a Golden Apple Award three times. He was also thrice named Physician of the Year at Lutheran Medical Center.
He is currently chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center, where he also serves on the Medical Executive Committee. Other committees he has served on include the performance excellence committee, the sepsis collaborative, the antibiotic stewardship committee, and the sepsis committee. He has presented lectures in Colorado, Washington, D.C., and throughout the nation and has mentored numerous medical students, residents, and physician assistant students.
He earned his bachelor’s and medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his internal medicine internship and emergency medicine residency at The George Washington University Hospital.
