Dr. Andrew Jenis is Regional Vice President of US Acute Care Solutions East Division. Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Jenis is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is an ABEM oral board examiner and an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons.  Prior to becoming vice president, he was chair and medical director for several emergency departments, including Mercy Chicago Hospital and Medical Center, an urban academic emergency department treating 65,000 patients annually; Stamford Hospital, a Connecticut hospital with 75,000 emergency department visits; and system medical director of Emergency Medicine Lake Health System in Ohio.  

Dr. Jenis earned his medical degree from the State University of New York and completed residencies in general surgery and emergency medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo.
