Dr. Andrew Jenis currently serves as one of three vice presidents of the US Acute Care Solutions East region.

Dr. Jenis received his medical degree cum laude from the State University of New York. He completed a General Surgery Residency and Emergency Medicine Residency at State University of New York at Buffalo.

Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Jenis is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also an ABEM Oral Board examiner. Most recently, Dr. Jenis served as Chair and Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Stamford Hospital, a Connecticut hospital with emergency room visits exceeding 55,000 patients a year. He has also served as Chair and System Medical Director of Emergency Medicine Lake Health System in Ohio. Dr. Jenis has been a Medical Director since 2003 and a traveling medical director since 2008.

Outside of the ED, Dr. Jenis enjoys hiking with his wife and two golden retrievers, boating, single track mountain biking and vinyasa yoga.
