Arun Nandi, MD, FRCS, FACEP

Arun Nandi, MD, FRCS,FACEP is the Chairman and ED Medical Director at Immediate Care Center at Tully Health Center in Stamford, CT. He has been with US Acute Care Solutions since 2016.
Dr. Nandi received his medical degree from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Pondicherry at Madras University, India. He completed his residency in General Surgery at JIPMER Pondicherry at Madras University and worked as a surgeon in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He then moved to the UK where he trained at Edinburgh and London in surgery, trauma and reconstruction. He completed research in wound healing at Stony Brook University in New York and then completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Jacobi and Montefiore hospitals, Bronx, NY. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He also is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh.
Dr. Nandi is a member of the international section of ACEP, Deputy Ambassador to India for Emergency Medicine and a Visiting Professor of Emergency Medicine at JIPMER in India. He organized the first Trauma and Emergency Medicine Symposium, ISEMT 2014 in JIPMER, India, leading to its designation as an Apex Trauma Center. He also organized the development of the first structured four-year EM residency at JIPMER in India.
Outside of the ED, Dr. Nandi enjoys trekking, skiing, soccer (favorite club is FC Barcelona). Dr. Nandi is also a big dog lover. He is married with two children. His son is a senior financial advisor to Netflix in Los Angeles and his daughter is a digital associate with CBS News in New York City.
