Dr. Brad Watling is the Vice President of USACS Southeast, and the System Medical Director at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He previously served as Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy.

Dr. Watling received a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Lyman Briggs School/Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Watling completed his emergency medicine residency at Grace/Sinai Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Watling also served as President of the Medical Staff at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy for the 2010-2011 terms.

Dr. Watling is board certified in emergency medicine. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children on Lake Norman waterskiing and wake surfing.
