Carmella Percy, DO, is the Medical Director for Atrium Health Steele Creek Emergency Department.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Arizona State University (magna cum laude), her medical degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency in emergency medicine at the Ohio University Heritage College of Medicine/Doctors Hospital as chief resident. She was named Intern of the Year in 2008, and Resident of the Year and Pediatric EM Resident of the Year in 2011.
Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Percy is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Emergency Medicine Residents Association and the Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.
