David Packo, MD, FACEP, is Co-Founder of legacy EMP. 

Dr. Packo is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a member of the National and Ohio Chapters of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He serves on the Reimbursement, Finance and Audit Committees of National ACEP. He previously served as the Chair of National ACEP’s Coding and Reimbursement Conferences, on the Coding and Nomenclature Committee, and on the planning Committee for ACEP's Scientific Assembly previously. As a member of Ohio ACEP, he served on the Reimbursement and Governmental Affairs Committees, as a Councilor for Ohio ACEP to National ACEP, and previously as Chapter Treasurer. He also previously served as a Board of Trustee Member of Massillon Community Hospital and on the Hospital Board's Finance and Professional Affairs Committees. As member of the AMA and Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), he served on the Board of the Stark County Medical Society.

Dr. Packo holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He performed his internship and residency in emergency medicine at Akron General Medical Center.
