David Lim, DO
Dr. David Lim serves as the Assistant Emergency Department medical director at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and leads the ED team at neighboring Cedar Park Regional Emergency Center, a hospital-owned freestanding ED in Leander, TX.
Dr. Lim earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and pursued a master’s in pharmacology and neuroscience from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth. He then received his DO from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge.
A native Austinite and a Texan at heart, Dr. Lim returned to work at both Cedar Park Regional in Cedar Park and Seton Highland Lakes Hospital in Burnet. He was the Emergency Medicine Residency Site Director for residents from Dell Seton Medical Center, and he continues to train emergency residents during their rural rotation at Seton Highland Lakes. At Cedar Park Regional, Dr. Lim plays an active role in multiple committees including Credentialing.
When not in the ED, Dr. Lim can be found hiking, photographing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
