Elliot Nipomnick, MD, FACEP
Elliot Nipomnick, MD, FACEP, is the ED Medical Director at Chinese Hospital in San Francisco, CA.
During his medical career, Dr. Nipomnick served in various capacities at several facilities, including Quality Director at Chinese Hospital; ED Medical Director at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, CA; Brookside Hospital in San Pablo,CA; Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, CA; Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City, CA; and Brookings Urgent Care in Brookings, OR. He served as Medical Director of the Del Norte County Correctional Facility and North Coast EMS Director for 10 years and currently serves as Hospital Utilization Coordinator at Chinese Hospital. He currently serves on the PSLRRG Board of Directors.
Dr. Nipomnick has served as Chairman of the Alemeda Contra Costa Emergency Physicians Association from 1994 thorugh 2013, and as an expert reviewer for the California Medical Board, CMS, and Lumetra, HSAG, Optima, Maximus Federal Services, and medical malpractice litigation. He has been a lecturer in the CEME sponsored course High Risk Emergency Medicine since 2002.
Dr. Nipomnick has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH. He has a Master of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook Health Sciences Center. he completed his internship at Presbyterian Hospital Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA.
In his spare time, Dr. Nipomnick enjoys golf, hiking, good food, and house maintenance.
