Jack Sharon, MD
Jack Sharon MD, is the medical director at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. He has been with Penrose - St. Francis Health Services since 2001, and with US Acute Care Solutions since 2018.
Dr. Sharon received his undergraduate education from the University of California in Los Angeles, CA. He went on to medical school at Oral Roberts University School of Medicine in Tulsa, OK, graduating with honors. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of California in San Francisco, CA, where he was Chief Resident. He also took a residency with an Emergency Medical Services Emphasis at Valley Medical Center in Fresno, CA.
Dr. Sharon currently holds a wide range of positions with Penrose - St. Francis Health Services. Some of those positions include; Board of Trustees Member, Medical Director, Front Range Emergency Specialists, and Board of Directors President. He is a member of multiple committees including; Trauma Section, Trauma Peer Review, Clinical Effectiveness, and Stroke Committee.
Dr. Sharon is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a member of the Colorado Medical Society, and El Paso County Medical Society. He is also certified by the State of Colorado, in Advanced Trauma, Advanced Cardiac, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
