Kevin Corrigan, DO
Kevin Corrigan, DO, is the interim ED Medical Director for Carolinas Medical Center Northeast in Concord, NC. Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Corrigan joined USACS in 2007 and completed the Scholars Program in 2008. He was Director at Lexington Memorial Hospital from 2007-2010. He was Medical Director at Carolinas Medical Center University from 2010-2013. He was named Director of the Year in 2011. Dr. Corrigan received the 2013 Golden Touch Premiere Award for work done in conjunction with the lean team for reducing overall length of stay for ED patients at Carolinas HealthCare System University.
In 2009, he began to assist Dr. Jesse DiRando with PhysicianFirst Academy and with site visits to improve physician-in-triage operations at several hospital locations. In 2010, he assisted in the creation of the Efficiency Academy with Dr. Steve Stephanides and Dr. John Janikas.
Dr. Corrigan received his undergraduate training at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL, where he was chief resident.
