Dr. Michael Longley has served as the Director of Emergency Medicine at Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel since its opening in 2012. Prior to that, he served as Director of Emergency Medicine at Florida Hospital North Pinellas since 2009. There, he was elected as 2010 Physician of the Year by the hospital nursing staff.

Dr. Longley joined TBEP (now USACS -Florida Division) in 2005 and was elected partner in 2007. He was the Director of Emergency Medicine at Suncoast Hospital from 2006-2008.

Dr. Longley graduated from The Chicago Medical School and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at East Carolina University. He has been ABEM board certified since 2006. In addition to his current role as Medical Director, he is the Director of Recruiting for USACS Florida and serves on the Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel Foundation Board.  Dr. Longley will become Chief of Staff Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel in January 2017.

Dr. Longley is also an accomplished jazz pianist.  He has performed internationally and continues to perform locally focusing on Florida Hospital-sponsored philanthropies for which he has raised nearly $100,000 in the last three years.
