Dr. Michael Osmundson currently serves as president of the US Acute Care Solutions Midwest region.

He joined USACS in 2009 from Georgia Emergency Physician Specialists, LLC, in Savannah, Georgia where he served as managing partner and president since 2003. Dr. Osmundson serves on the Board of California ACEP, and is currently a member of that state chapter's executive council.

Dr. Osmundson obtained his medical degree at UCLA and his emergency medicine residency program was conducted at Carolinas Medical School in Charlotte, North Carolina where he served as chief resident. He earned his master’s degree at the Stetson School of Business at Mercer University. 

Dr. Osmundson is board certified in emergency medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
