During the academy, physicians are recorded as they interact with patient-actors. Behavioral specialists and psychologists analyze each physician's voice, mannerisms, eye contact and other subtle details. Skilled professionals provide feedback to each physician and the journey of self-improvement begins.
USACS has partnered with Press Ganey to provide monthly, physician-specific feedback reports, which allow our physicians to reinforce positive behavior changes via immediate, regular input and direct patient comments in order to further improve metrics tied to patient satisfaction.
Results of the academy on Press Ganey physician ranking have shown significant increases in individual rankings maintained over at least 18 months. USACS physicians regularly return home from this academy with a much higher level of personal satisfaction and a deeper understanding of their own role in improving patient satisfaction.
