Said Soubra MD, MBA
Vice President, National Director of Critical Care
Dr. Said Soubra is the Vice President, National Director of Critical Care for USACS, Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit, and Chief Medical Officer at Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock, TX. He also is on the National Clinical Governance Board.
Dr. Soubra is board certified in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, and has special expertise in the field of pulmonary vascular disease. He has taught and conducted research at Baylor College of Medicine, and also has served as a member of the lung transplant team at both Methodist Hospital and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and medical director of the Intensive Care Unit at the Michael E. Debakey Veterans Administration Medical Center.
In 2008, he moved to Austin to start the first intensivist group for Emergency Service Partners (now USACS South). He has since then served in multiple leadership positions including chief of staff and chief medical officer at Seton Williamson.
Dr. Soubra earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and completed his residency (as chief resident) in internal medicine at The University of Kansas, followed by a three-year fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, with an additional fellowship in lung transplantation and pulmonary vascular disease.
