Dr. Simon Edginton has been the USACS Florida Regional Chief Medical Officer since 2015. During his career, Dr. Edginton has served as an Emergency Medicine Division Chief and Medical Director at multiple facilities within the AdventHealth Health System. Currently he is Chairman of the USACS Florida Regional Clinical Governance Board and has served on the National Clinical Governance Board since its inception.
Dr. Edginton graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and also holds a Master of Healthcare Leadership degree from Brown University. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was also chief resident. He has been ABEM board certified since 1999.
