Dr. Eileen Toloza-Larson is the Emergency Department Medical Director at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville, TX, where she has worked since 2004.

Dr. Toloza-Larson graduated summa cum laude with a degree in physiological science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, then relocated to Texas to complete her residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Shortly after meeting her husband, a Texas native, Dr. Toloza-Larson began her family in the scenic Texas Hill Country. She quickly became an integral member of the Peterson medical staff, serving on various committees, as the Chief of Medicine in 2009, the hospital’s Chief of Staff in 2011, and on the Board of Directors from 2012 to 2013.

Apart from her clinical and administrative duties, Dr. Toloza-Larson enjoys Polynesian dancing, running, and spending time outdoors with her family, fishing, hunting, and traveling to the coast to collect seashells and seaglass (an activity that dates back to her early years growing up on the beach in southern California).
