Geetanjali Srivastava, MD, MPH, FAAP
Geetanjali Srivastava is the medical director for Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, CA. She is board certified by the American Board of pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. Prior to her work as a pediatric emergency physician in the U.S., Dr. Srivastava Prior to Valley Children’s, Dr. Srivastava was a senior attending physician at Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar. While there, she sat on the resuscitation steering committee, the pediatric working group and was the lead author for their Code Blue Policy and Rapid Response Policy. She has also served as a senior attending physician at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar and an attending physician at Children’s Medical Center Dallas in Texas.
Dr. Srivastava is a member of the European Society of Emergency Medicine and an American Academy of Pediatrics fellow. She holds certifications from Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She has conducted extensive research in the areas of injury prevention, medical education, trauma and public health and policy. Her research has been published in peer review journals including Pediatric Emergency Care, Journal of Hospital Medicine, Academic Pediatrics and the Journal of the Society of Simulation in Healthcare. She has also presented her research at events including Pediatric Academic Societies annual meetings and International Pediatric Simulation Society symposiums.
Dr. Srivastava earned her medical degree from University of Texas Medical School and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago Medicine Center. She completed her fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
