Gerald Tripp, MD
Dr. Tripp is a board certified emergency medicine and has been in practice for the past 18 years. Dr. Tripp received his Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Colorado School of Mines and worked for Shell Oil Company for 5 years before leaving to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Tripp graduated from The Baylor College of Medicine in 1994 and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Maricopa Medical Center in 1998. He has served as the Medical Director for St. Anthony Hospital Emergency Department for the past 3 years. He also has a passion and interest in informatics and also serves as the Physician Director of Informatics for St. Anthony Hospital. Dr. Tripp believes Emergency Medicine is a true team profession and believes it is imperative that physicians work side by side with nursing staff as well as other ED personnel in a collaborative effort. Only in this manner can an ED truly deliver “Excellence in Care” to their patients. Dr. Tripp believes that everyone should come to work with their “A” game because that is what your patients deserve and expect.
