Greg Hadden, MD, FACEP
Dr. Greg Hadden is the medical director at Five Star ER’s Dripping Springs location, just southwest of Austin, TX. Prior to the opening of this freestanding ER, Dr. Hadden practiced in the Austin area for a decade, working primarily at Seton Medical Center Austin and Seton Northwest Hospital. He has also worked at Seton Southwest and Seton Highland Lakes Hospitals, as well as CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System in Texarkana. In addition, he has served as a track physician for the Formula One U.S. Grand Prix at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas.
The recipient of numerous professional honors and academic awards, he has served on many hospital committees (including as a Joint Commission physician champion for Seton) as well as on the peer review committee for Emergency Service Partners, a founding partner of US Acute Care Solutions.
Originally from Flagstaff, Arizona, Dr. Hadden graduated magna cum laude with honors from the University of Arizona. He went on to receive his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and was chief resident in emergency medicine at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. Dr. Hadden is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has been recognized as a multi-year recipient of the “Texas Rising Stars” award in emergency medicine.
