Residency Task Force
Our Residency Task Force provides oversight and support for our residency programs to ensure a consistent, high-quality training experience. We work closely with program leaders and faculty to strengthen graduate medical education, support Residents, and advance Emergency Medicine as a specialty.
Outstanding Support
We established the Residency Task Force in 2016 to strengthen support for our residency programs. Since then, we have focused on building a consistent, high-quality experience across sites. The task force advances this work through five core goals:
- Identify and share best residency management practices across the practice.
- Educate and inform leadership on new quality programs or initiatives identified at residency programs.
- Evaluate reimbursement and funding best practices for core faculty.
- Ensure compliance of all residency programs with ACGME requirements.
- Provide resources to support the health and well-being of Residents, faculty, and their families.
