Nicholas Jouriles

Nicholas Jouriles, MD, is Professor and Chair of Emergency Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He is the current President of the ED Benchmarking Alliance and the past President of ACEP. He has served on or chaired many committees for CORD, ACEP, IFEM, and SAEM, and as an ABEM examiner. Dr. Jouriles focuses his publications on the education and administrative aspects of Emergency Medicine. His textbook chapter features include diseases of the myocardium and pericardium and oncologic emergencies. Many of his previous trainees and mentees now occupy significant leadership positions in Emergency Medicine. 

Dr. Jouriles is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Case Western Reserve University. He trained at Dartmouth Hitchcock and Denver Health Medical Centers.
