    • 24 hours of Physician coverage (for average of 30 patients per day); increases to 26 hours during higher volume months  
  • Full-service, Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
  • Open 24/7 to treat conditions requiring immediate care
  • CT and X-ray 24/7
  • MRI and US during business hours
  • 24/7 RT coverage
  • 24/7 transfer coordinators and Psychiatric Evaluation Services
  • 12hr/day, 7 days/week case management
  • Coverage includes all UM Shore locations (Easton, Cambridge, and Queenstown)

Hospitalist Service

  • Daily Encounters: 9
  • Physician Staffing Model:
    • 6 – 7 per Physician – 24 hours of Physician coverage daily
  • Dedicated Nocturnist
  • Procedures recommended but not required
  • EMR: Epic
