Javier Gonzalez MD, FACEP, DABT

Javier Gonzalez, MD, FACEP, DABT, is a Medical Director for USACS South and Chief of Staff Elect at AdventHealth Zephyrhills and AdventHealth Dade City.

A Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, he also is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) and also an affiliate member of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT). He is a frequent guest lecturer at the AdventHealth East Orlando ED and OakHill Hospital ED residency programs. He is attending the Physician Team Leadership Program offered by Harvard Business Publishing.

He earned the Master of Science degree in Clinical Toxicology from the University of Florida and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine from Florida Hospital, where he served as chief resident.
