Javier Gonzalez , MD, FACEP, DABT

Javier Gonzalez, MD, FACEP, DABT, is a Medical Director for USACS South and Chief of Staff Elect at AdventHealth Zephyrhills and AdventHealth Dade City. A Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, he also is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) and an affiliate member of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT). He is a frequent guest lecturer at the AdventHealth East Orlando ED and OakHill Hospital ED residency programs. 

Dr. Gonzalez earned a Master of Science in Clinical Toxicology from the University of Florida and a medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Florida Hospital, where he served as chief resident, and is attending the Physician Team Leadership Program offered by Harvard Business Publishing.
