Jayne Kendall, MD, MBA, FACEP, CDE
Dr. Jayne Kendall currently serves as one of three vice presidents of the US Acute Care Solutions Southeast & West region.
She previously served as interim ED medical director at CarolinaEast. She also served as Director and Chairman of Emergency Services at the former Gaston Memorial Hospital (now known as CaroMount Regional Medical Center) in Gastonia, NC.
Dr. Kendall is originally from Indiana and attended Indiana University-Bloomington where she majored in psychology. She attended medical school at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina where she served as a Chief Resident during her third year. In May 2012, she completed the Executive Master of Business Administration program at Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. Kendall is a Certified Diversity Professional, earning her credentials from the Institute for Diversity Certification. The certification represents Dr. Kendall's professional competence through knowledge and experience in the field of Diversity and Inclusion.
After spending almost a year as an attending physician at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, Dr. Kendall joined US Acute Care Solutions of Gaston County in April of 2006 and served as Quality Director before becoming Assistant Medical Director. She was promoted to Chairman and Medical Director in April of 2009. She was named as Vice President of USACS Medical Group in July 2012.
Dr. Kendall is active in the community. She has volunteered at multiple health festivals and has volunteered her time and services to provide free sports physicals for school age children in Gaston County. She has also given lectures about health topics for community education.
In her spare time, Dr. Kendall likes to spend time with her family and friends. She is also the mother of twins, Jack and Claire. She enjoys going on bike rides, running, shopping and wine-tasting.
