Bahareh Aslani, MD, MSE, FACEP, is a board-certified emergency physician and the Medical Director at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Fairfax, VA. Previously, she served as the Assistant Medical Director at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Fairfax, VA. In this role, Dr. Aslani was responsible for managing operations of the emergency department which sees 115K annual visits. She developed and implemented several programs and protocols to improve areas such as length of stay, mortality, and admissions. She also served as the Trauma Director for the hospital.
In addition, Dr. Aslani is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and serves on the Inova Fairfax Hospital Medical Executive Committee as Chair of Physician Engagement and Outreach.
Dr. Aslani earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine then went on to complete her emergency medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit where she served as Chief Resident.
