Edward Kokosinski, DO, FACEP, is a Regional Vice President of the USACS West Division. Most recently, Dr. Kokosinski served as both the Medical Director at Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge, CA, and Co-Medical Director at Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, CA. Under his leadership, he drove operational improvements in patient throughput, sepsis care, and ED staffing efficiency, leveraging a collaborative, data-informed approach to achieve top performance.
Dr. Kokosinski is actively engaged in numerous committees at Northridge Hospital, most notably serving as Chair of the sepsis committee since 2019. He was named a recipient of the Dignity Health Culture of Safety Award in 2022. He also is a current participant in the USACS Directors EDGE program, a member of the West Division Clinical Governance Board, and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
Dr. Kokosinski earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his emergency medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.
