Parag Amin, MD

Parag Amin, MD, is the Physician Lead, Residency Relations—North Division and the Medical Director at OhioHealth Grove City Methodist Hospital. Dr. Amin is engaged in several activities within the OhioHealth System, including the ED Clinical Governance Committee, System ED Peer Review Committee, and Sepsis Improvement Committee. He has sustained clinical, quality, and leadership experience, having held roles in residency relations, ED operations, and faculty development. 

Dr. Amin previously served as the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) Medical Director at Mercy Health – Springfield Regional Medical Center, as well as the Quality Director at OhioHealth Grove City Methodist Hospital and OhioHealth Doctors Hospital. He was a core faculty member for the OhioHealth Doctors Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency, where he earned the Outstanding Emergency Medicine Faculty Award in 2021. He continues to work at OhioHealth Grove City Methodist Hospital, OhioHealth Doctors Hospital, Fairfield Medical Center, Mercy Health – Springfield Regional Medical Center, and Mercy Health – Urbana Hospital, where he was voted Physician of the Year in 2024. 

Dr. Amin earned his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at Henry Ford St. John Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA). 

Outside of USACS, Dr. Amin enjoys golfing, watching all sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Hatil, and two kids, Aiden and Ava.
