Shea Combs, MD, FACEP, is a Regional Vice President of the USACS South Division.
Previously, Dr. Combs served as the Regional Integrated Acute Care Medical Director of the USACS South Division and System Medical Director of Hospital Medicine at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, in Austin, TX, and Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville, TX. She began with a USACS legacy group in 2005 and has served in several leadership positions throughout her career.
Dr. Combs is an active member of the USACS South Clinical Governance Board and serves on numerous committees. She completed the USACS Directors EDGE program in 2023 and has been delivering an ED resident lecture series at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas since 2018.
A board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Combs earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed her residency training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
