Benjamin Duncan, MD, FPD-AEMUS, a Cincinnati, OH native, received his medical degree from the University of Toledo and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Michigan. He then went on to complete an emergency ultrasound fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Duncan currently serves as the Ultrasound Director for his region and as core faculty for the upcoming Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Mercy Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, and engages in multiple national teaching and training courses.
Dr. Duncan’s clinical interests mainly revolve around point-of-care ultrasound and how it can be used to not only deliver better, high-quality care to patients, but also the role it can have in educating patients and making them more informed on their health. Dr. Duncan also is interested in expanding the use of POCUS to advanced practice providers, having developed a credentialing process at his hospital system.
