Dr. Casey Collins is an emergency medicine physician at Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD, and serves as the Chief Documentation Officer for USACS, and the Chair of the EDPMA QCDC subcommittee on bad payer behavior. Prior to joining USACS, Dr. Collins had served as the National CDI Senior Director for a USACS legacy group.

He has previously been a speaker for EDPMA RCM Workshop, Maryland ACEP, University Hospital’s EM Resident Mentorship Program, and was the chief contributor and presenter for the CCME course: Mastering Acute Care Charting.  

Dr. Collins has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and Medical degree from Penn State University College of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center now Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Collins is board certified in emergency medicine and is a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
