Kathryn Moore, DO, is the Associate Program Director of the Summa Emergency Medicine Residency in Akron, OH. She is also the Chair of the Clinical Competency Committee and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). Dr. Moore is deeply committed to Resident education, contributing to the design and implementation of the weekly conference curriculum, as well as organizing and facilitating monthly simulation conferences and oral board preparation sessions.

She has authored multiple literature reviews and board preparation resources, with a particular focus on enhancing Resident readiness for board certification. Dr. Moore developed and implemented a longitudinal, interactive board review lecture series that has been highly regarded by trainees. In recognition of her dedication to teaching and mentorship, she has received multiple teaching awards from Summa Health and USACS.

Dr. Moore earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training in emergency medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.
