Sunny Wang, MD, FACEP, is the Associate Program Director for the Mercy Anderson Emergency Medicine Residency in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Wang has been with USACS since 2011, having joined one of the legacy groups directly out of residency. She previously was the Medical Director for Rookwood Medical Center for two years, before becoming the Medical Director and department chair for Mercy Anderson. She also served as the regional scheduler for all eight Mercy Health sites in Cincinnati for over two years.

Dr. Wang is a strong believer in finding a work-life balance and enjoys speaking with residents about being a working mother. In the spirit of honoring her work-life balance, she took a one-year sabbatical, from August 2020-July 2021, and witnessed first-hand how Taiwan navigated the pandemic. She enjoys teaching clinical skills and procedures, while finding new tips and tricks to help make standard procedures more efficient.

Dr. Wang received her medical degree from Duke University and completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati.
