Travis Ulmer, MD, FACEP, is the USACS Chief Clinical Recruiting Officer. Dr. Ulmer has served as ED Medical Director at Springfield Regional Medical Center and subsequently as a regional Medical Director overseeing multiple USACS sites. He also taught clinical best practices as a faculty member of USACS Efficiency Academy. In 2012, he was named the Executive of the Year. Dr. Ulmer also currently serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Council. Dr. Ulmer is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Ulmer earned a bachelor's degree from Denison University and a medical degree from The Ohio State University, where he received the Outstanding Research Performance award. He completed his emergency medicine residency at The Ohio State University where he was chief resident. During his residency, Dr. Ulmer received the Housestaff Citizenship, Internal Medicine Hermes, Resident Academic Excellence and Resident Teacher of the Year awards.
