Inpatient services include:

• Acute care and long-term care
• Dedicated 10-bed unit for acute psychiatric treatment and stabilization
• Outpatient programs such as oncology services, physical therapy
• One floor hospital

• ED Volume: 13,000

• Brand new ED
• Ed Beds: 10
• 10 monitored closed-door rooms with three room fast track
• ED has priority to 128-slice CT machine
• Primary Stroke Center
• TPA given with tele-neurology
• 18% pediatric patients
• 14% admission/transfer rate (combined true hospital admits and observation admits)
• Hospitalists admit 95% of patients in hospital
• Epic EMR
• ED is its own department
• Ultrasound machine in ED
• PACS reading on sight during daytime hours; in Richmond at nights and on weekends; 24-hour lab with 1 hour turnaround time
• Sedation agents include Propofal, Versed, Ketamine, Etomidate
• RN to patient ratio: 4 RNs to 8 beds (peak); 3 RNs to 8 beds (low)
• Splinting done by Physicians, RNs
