  • ED Beds: 28 (private treatment rooms with bedside registration)
    • Specialized treatment rooms include:
      • 3 large resuscitation rooms
      • 1 dedicated reverse isolation room
      • 1 decontamination room
  • EMR: Epic
  • Certified Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center
  • In addition to medicine, neurology, GI, cardiology, general surgery, and orthopedics, the ED has robust specialist coverage including plastics, hand, facial trauma, ENT, ophthalmology, dental and ankle trauma
  • A dedicated psychiatric social worker who staffs the ED 24/7/365

About USACS

As an Associate ED Medical Director at UHCA, you will be responsible for collaborating with the ED Medical Director, hospital, and nursing leadership while offering support to your Physician staff. Not only will you serve as a leader within the emergency department, you will also serve as a leader within the organization.
