Senior Resident & Fellow Forum

Since 2022, we have hosted our annual renowned Senior Resident & Fellow Forum for PGY 2-4 Residents. The agenda is designed to make the transition from Resident to successful Attending as smooth as possible. Attendees engage with our Senior Physician leaders to learn more about how to have a fulfilling career by navigating the challenges of an ever-evolving healthcare environment.

Virtual Ground Rounds

We began conducting our USACS Virtual Ground Rounds in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We at USACS serve as primary faculty for nine EM residency programs. Twice a year, we hold a shared didactic session, inviting medical students, Residents, faculty, and guest lecturers to debate topics important to the practice of medicine today. Participants take part in abstract competitions, lightning chats, and even a virtual escape room, making the sessions both engaging and educational. In the last year, we have invited residencies outside USACS to participate as well, and we’re open to discussing that
option with you and your residency leaders.

Social Events

As fellow Physicians, we recognize the importance of a healthy work-life balance. That’s why we schedule social events that allow Residents to enjoy themselves while networking with a broad group of future colleagues—ranging from Physicians recently out of residency to Physician leaders with decades of clinical and business experience. Help your Residents take a break from the daily demands of residency to experience our laid-back and authentic USACS culture.

Options to consider include:

  • Local Dinners
  • Wellness Events (mountain biking, an evening of yoga, hiking, etc.)
  • Sporting Events (baseball, football, hockey, etc.)
  • Leisure Activities (axe throwing, fishing, go-kart racing, bowling, etc.)

Why USACS

We at US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) are the leading Clinician-centric practice in emergency, hospital, and critical care medicine.

Caring for our patients and promoting our Physicians’ careers are our greatest strengths. This ideal has propelled us to care for more than 11 patients annually at more than 400 programs across the nation. Our continued growth is a sign of our success in patient care and Physician advancement.

We at USACS banded together as a group of small, democratic Physician practices. As such, we know what is important to ourselves as Physicians, so we offer best-in-class benefits and ongoing training to help Residents excel as they begin their careers.
