CANTON, Ohio, November 13, 2025 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS), the nation’s largest physician-owned emergency and inpatient medicine practice, announced that Amy Conley, MD, FACEP, and David Scott, MD, FACEP have been named members of its Board of Directors.
Both Drs. Conley and Scott have been with the practice since its inception and have extensive clinical and leadership experience. Given the practice’s ongoing commitment to physician ownership, physician shareholders recently voted to add a 10th seat to the board. This additional seat is reserved for a front-line physician shareholder who does not currently serve the practice in a leadership role.
Dr. Amy Conley was nominated for the seat, and fellow physician shareholders voted her the first to serve in this capacity. Of the 10 board seats, seven now belong to physicians. Dr. Scott was selected by the board to fill the seat that became vacant after longtime board member Robert Coward transitioned into his new role as CEO of the practice.
Dr. Conley practices clinically as a full-time bedside emergency medicine physician at the practice’s AdventHealth Tampa partner location. In the past, she has served in several leadership roles, including medical director, chief of medical staff, and division chief. She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and an active member of ACEP’s Florida chapter (FCEP), where she previously served as president.
Dr. Scott practices as an emergency medicine physician in the practice’s Florida region and previously served as chief administrative officer and chief clinical officer from 2015 to 2019. He is a certified personal finance consultant and has shared his real-world financial expertise by providing resources and education for his USACS colleagues.
“We are thrilled to welcome both Drs. Conley and Scott to our board,” said Executive Chair of the Board Dominic Bagnoli, MD, FACEP, FAAEM. “Our focus on keeping the board physician-driven allows us to continually place our clinicians at the center of all our decisions. The participation of two additional bedside physician voices who can share what our clinicians are experiencing in real time is invaluable. I look forward to working alongside these incredible physicians who have long served our practice.”
Dr. Conley said, “It is an honor to have been selected as the inaugural physician owner to fill this new seat on the board. I am deeply committed to transparency, fairness, and protecting our democratic practice model, and I look forward to serving my colleagues and our practice in this capacity.”
“Serving in this role and sharing clinical insights on behalf of my colleagues to help our practice excel is a responsibility I take great pride in,” said Dr. Scott. “I am eager to contribute and learn from current board members who have helped us achieve the success we’ve experienced over the past 10 years.”
Dr. Conley earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from West Liberty State College and her Doctor of Medicine from Marshall University School of Medicine. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and his Doctor of Medicine from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Akron General Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
