US Acute Care Solutions Announces New Partnership with HonorHealth System in Arizona

CANTON, Ohio, February 6, 2025 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS), the nation’s largest physician-owned emergency and inpatient medicine practice, is pleased to announce a new partnership with HonorHealth, a leading health system serving greater Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. As of February 1, 2025, USACS began providing emergency medicine services at four HonorHealth facilities in Arizona, which include:
- HonorHealth Mountain Vista Medical Center—Mesa, AZ
- HonorHealth Tempe Medical Center—Tempe, AZ
- HonorHealth Florence Medical Center—Florence, AZ
- HonorHealth Mesa Emergency Center—Mesa, AZ
This partnership represents approximately 93,000 new patient encounters annually. With a focus on collaborative patient-centric care and innovation, HonorHealth and USACS are aligned in both their values and mission, affirming the impact of the partnership.
USACS CEO Chris Hummer expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “This is a tremendous opportunity for our group, and we are excited to work alongside the talented teams at HonorHealth to advance patient safety, experience, and clinical excellence.”

US Acute Care Solutions Names Andrew Biga as Chief People Officer

In this role, he oversaw talent management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.Prior to joining GoHealth, Mr. Biga held the role of Director of Talent Acquisition and Assessment for JetBlue Airways, where he led the enterprise recruiting and assessment teams responsible for filling over 5,000 roles annually and advancing data-driven hiring and selection practices. Earlier in his career, Mr. Biga held leadership roles with Procter Gamble, focusing on global talent management and leveraging data and analytics to drive talent decisions. US Acute Care Solutions Names Drs. Amy Conley and David Scott to Its Majority-Physician Board of Directors: USACS Board Comprised of Seven Physicians of 10 Members
CANTON, Ohio, November 13, 2025 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS), the nation’s largest physician-owned emergency and inpatient medicine practice, announced that Amy Conley, MD, FACEP, and David Scott, MD, FACEP have been named members of its Board of Directors.Both Drs. Conley and Scott have been with the practice since its inception and have extensive clinical and leadership experience. Given the practice’s ongoing commitment to physician ownership, physician shareholders recently voted to add a 10th seat to the board. This additional seat is reserved for a front-line physician shareholder who does not currently serve the practice in a leadership role.Dr. Amy Conley was nominated for the seat, and fellow physician shareholders voted her the first to serve in this capacity. Of the 10 board seats, seven now belong to physicians. Dr. Scott was selected by the board to fill the seat that became vacant after longtime board member Robert Coward transitioned into his new role as CEO of the practice.Dr. Conley practices clinically as a full-time bedside emergency medicine physician at the practice’s AdventHealth Tampa partner location. In the past, she has served in several leadership roles, including medical director, chief of medical staff, and division chief. She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and an active member of ACEP’s Florida chapter (FCEP), where she previously served as president.Dr. Scott practices as an emergency medicine physician in the practice’s Florida region and previously served as chief administrative officer and chief clinical officer from 2015 to 2019.
