US Acute Care Solutions Names Dr. Edward Kokosinski Regional Vice President of its West Division

CANTON, Ohio, August 8, 2025 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS), the nation’s largest physician-owned emergency and inpatient medicine practice, announced today that it has named Edward Kokosinski, DO, FACEP, as a Regional Vice President of its West Division.
Most recently, Dr. Kokosinski served as both the Medical Director at Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge, CA, and Co-Medical Director at Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, CA. Under his leadership, he drove operational improvements in patient throughput, sepsis care, and ED staffing efficiency, leveraging a collaborative, data-informed approach to achieve top performance.
Actively engaged in numerous committees, including serving as chair of the sepsis committee at Northridge, Dr. Kokosinski is committed to investing his time and expertise to benefit both his colleagues and patients. His leadership directly contributed to Northridge achieving an hNPS score of 100 for three consecutive years and top SEP-1 performance among all Dignity California hospitals.
In 2022, Dr. Kokosinski was awarded the Dignity Health Culture of Safety Award, further demonstrating his dedication to continuous improvement and quality patient care. Additionally, he is a current participant in the USACS Directors EDGE program and a member of the West Division Clinical Governance Board, reflecting his commitment to the practice and his colleagues.

Dr. Kokosinski earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his emergency medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.
