Roya Caloia, DO, FACEP, FAAEM
Associate Director of Clinical Education
Roya Zolnoor Caloia, DO, MPH, FACEP, FAAEM, is the associate director of Clinical Education for US Acute Care Solutions and an emergency medicine physician at Ascension Genesys Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI, where she also serves as core faculty for the EM Residency.
Other scholarly pursuits include serving as an MCEP Education committee member, vice chair of ACOEP BPEM committee, a reviewer for the Journal of Education and Teaching in Emergency Medicine and the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine, and AOBEM Oral Board Examiner. She is a frequent presenter, lecturer, and has authored several publications. She has earned the 2014 and 2015 Humanitarian Service Award, the 20 Under 40 for the Monroe newspaper, Faculty of the Year for Genesys Regional Medical Center, and Distinguished Reviewer for West JEM.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami, a master’s degree in public health from Florida International University, and a medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship at Palmetto General Hospital and her residency at Oakwood Southshore Medical Center, where she was chief resident.
