Nathan Cleveland, MD
Director of Risk Management
Dr. Nathan J. Cleveland, FACEP, FAAEM, is USACS’ director of risk management. He also is associate residency director and assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
He has earned numerous teacher of the year awards. He is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Emergency Medicine and has conducted research on a number of emergency medicine topics, and has published in many journals including Academic Emergency Medicine, Prehospital Emergency Care, Human & Experimental Toxicology, Annals of Emergency, and more. He presents his research throughout the nation.
He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees at University of Colorado, and a medical degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Denver Health Medical Center.
