Daniel Ricciardi, MD
Daniel R. Ricciardi MD, is Medical Director of Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He has previously served as president of Piedmont Emergency Consultants and Medical Director for SMJH Emergency Department. He also has served on the Medical Malpractice Review, as a Greene County SWAT physician, on the Martha Jefferson Hospital Presidents Quality Council, as a Split Flow Process Redesign Champion, and as a SMJH Quality Council Member. He is board certified and is on the American Board of Emergency Medicine; and a Fellow in the American Academy of Emergency Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from College of Charleston and a medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina; he completed an internship in emergency medicine and a residency in emergency medicine from Vanderbuilt University Medical Center. He has certifications in ACLS, PALS and ATLS.
