Sakib Motalib, MD, serves as the National Director of Clinical Education for USACS. In this leadership role, he oversees clinical education programs on a national scale, working closely with USACS' quality, risk, and documentation leadership to align education with best practices in patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.

With over a decade of diverse clinical experience, Dr. Motalib has worked across a variety of hospital settings—from high-acuity academic centers to community hospitals—giving him a broad, adaptable approach to emergency medicine. He currently practices at Inova Fairfax Hospital, home to one of the busiest emergency departments in the United States, providing high-quality, high-volume emergency care.

Dr. Motalib completed an ultrasound fellowship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown. He has since integrated ultrasound into clinical practice, research, and curriculum development. As an assistant professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, he designed and teaches ultrasound curricula and clinical performance mastery courses for medical students, while also serving on the School of Medicine Admissions Council. His excellence in education has been recognized with multiple awards, including the George Washington Emergency Medicine Residency’s "Attending of the Year" honor.  Dr. Motalib is a leader in medical education, leveraging FOAMed (Free Open Access Medical Education) resources and social platforms to advance emergency medicine learning. He is also expanding his role into the integration of artificial intelligence in emergency medicine practice.
