USACS Names Robert Coward and Kedrick Adkins Members of the Board
CANTON, Ohio, November 15, 2019 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) today announced it has named Robert Coward and Kedrick Adkins to its Board of Directors. Long-serving board member Rick Willett has stepped down from the Board. Robert Coward has been named Vice Chairman of the Board for USACS and has a long history of leading physician services healthcare companies. Mr. Coward served as President of Sheridan Healthcare, where he worked for 23 years. Kedrick Adkins, named as a director and Chair of the Audit Committee, retired as Chief Financial Officer of the Mayo Clinic in 2017, and before that was the President of Integrated Services for Trinity Health. “Robert and Kedrick will make significant additions to the Board,” said James Frary, Chief Executive Officer of USACS. “Both are well-respected healthcare leaders, proven supporters of a patient-focused mission, and both bring tremendous knowledge and experience related to the growth opportunity unique to USACS.” Rick Willett joined the Board at the formation of USACS in May 2015. USACS to Exhibit at ACEP19 Scientific Assembly This October
US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) is returning to exhibit at the ACEP19 Scientific Assembly at the Colorado Convention Center Oct. 27 - Oct. 30. Each year, thousands of emergency medicine professionals gather from around the world to attend the world’s largest EM conference put on by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Last year, the annual assembly experienced record-breaking attendance for its 50th anniversary, with nearly 7,500 attendees. Attendance is expected to reach 9,000 this year. US Acute Care Solutions Expands Integrated Acute Care Practice in Maryland
CANTON, Ohio, July 29, 2019 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) today announced it will begin providing Integrated Acute Care (IAC) services at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, Maryland. USACS is adding hospitalist and ICU services in addition to its current emergency medicine services. The expanded partnership begins July 29, 2019. The partnership marks another Maryland expansion of the rapidly-growing IAC program at USACS. Prior to that, she was CEO of Echo Consulting Group, LLC, which provided consulting services to organizations and healthcare systems across the United States. US Acute Care Solutions Names Dr. Jennifer Bradstreet Vice President of Southwest Region
AUSTIN, Texas, December 6, 2018 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) today named Dr. Jennifer Bradstreet Vice President of its Southwest Region effective January 1, 2019. Most recently, Dr. Bradstreet served as the System Director for Lake Health Emergency Departments near Cleveland, Ohio. She is a board member of the USACS National Clinical Governance Board. Dr. Bradstreet has served in leadership for over 10 years with a strong focus on continuous process improvement, talent development, quality and patient experience. She has successfully led teams in both academic and community environments, from freestanding EDs to large trauma centers. As a regional vice president serving the southern portion of the region, Dr. Bradstreet will provide medical and administrative leadership necessary to support the efforts of individual site medical directors. In collaboration with the leadership and staff of USACS Southwest, she will oversee the quality and effectiveness of each medical director while providing the resources and direction required to maintain the highest-quality patient care. Dr. Bradstreet said, “I am very excited for the opportunity to join my new colleagues in Texas.
