About USACS

The Clinical Recruiting Visa Champion is an advocate for USACS as an employer of choice among international medical professionals requiring visa sponsorship. This role involves active engagement in physician social media, conferences, networking events/exhibits, and presentations to attract potential candidates. The Visa Champion collaborates closely with the Service Line Recruiting Vice President, Clinical Recruiter, Immigration Manager, local site clinical leadership and Residency Specialist to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Physician Recruitment

  • Actively engage with physicians both online and in person to promote USACS as a preferred employer.
  • Represent USACS at conferences, social events, webinars, and other forums frequented by international medical professionals.

Sourcing Strategies

  • Assist in developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies aimed at building a robust pipeline of immigrant candidates.
  • Utilize online platforms (job boards, social media), networking events, referral programs, and other channels to identify qualified candidates.

Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with medical schools, residency programs, professional organizations, and institutions that have a high concentration of visa-eligible physicians.
  • Foster ongoing connections to ensure a steady stream of potential candidates aligned with visa sponsorship needs.

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Works closely with Residency Relations teams; local and national clinical leadership; Corporate Recruiting Teams; Immigration Managers; and other stakeholders to understand staffing requirements.
  • Share insights on candidate pools and recruitment trends to optimize hiring strategies focused on visa-sponsored physicians.

Candidate Engagement & Presentation

  • Present information about USACS’s opportunities clearly and compellingly during candidate interactions or group presentations.
  • Support corporate recruiters by posting relevant content on social media platforms that highlight visa sponsorship benefits.

Reporting & Feedback

  • Provide regular updates on recruitment activities including successes achieved as well as challenges encountered.
  • Offer actionable feedback for continuous improvement of the recruitment process targeting visa candidates.

Other

  • This is a new role and other responsibilities may be assigned as the role devolves.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Current or former USACS physician in good standing who has participated in the internal visa sponsorship process.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly within professional networks.

Work Environment

This role may require occasional travel to attend job fairs, networking events or meet directly with candidates/hiring managers as needed.

Average of 15 hours per month

 

Compensation

$3000 monthly stipend
